         In the third year it was proposed the study of an urbanization, where we can work the Urban Form regarding housing building and public and private areas in the empty space, of Carcereira.

            Firstly , we should pay attention to the fact that the referred area is abandoned, in an area that can bo called of scales transition. The main purpose was to make an intervention in that area, so that space the urban mesh could remain legible and at the same time all the architectural urban languages that join ther could be completed.

     Then, I created two spaces which communicate with each other in a binominal rugulation/conclusion ratio. regarding the arch centerings I tried to adapt the suggested buildings to the surrounding ones. However, I created an exception : a tower, designed to characterise that point of the city and which could make, at the same time , the conclusion of the city entry via Sidónio Pais Street. The solution I presented considers two areas of public spaces: a large square with a large garden next to the viaduct. The square emergs as a conclusion and qualifies the ground with the variety of spaces .

              As regards to the program distribution, I can refer that around the public space spread out commercial areas whose central buildings, in front of Sidónio Pais Street are filled with housing from the ground floor.

             The tower is also completely occupied by corporative housing. Regarding to offices, they form the entire body of conclusion of the quarter close to Lieutenant Valadim Street . The whole building follows the contour of the ground  with a maximum five floors, except the tower which has 13 pavements , and the transition volumes with three gables of three floors.
